Hi everyone,

It is that time of year to share what psychology doctorate programs people applied to during the Fall 2022, and when they received interview invites. Also, if you were accepted or not/your final decision.

Just a friendly reminder to folks, make sure you are looking at the outcomes data for the programs you are applying and getting interviews too when making final decisions.

Over $46,000/year for just tuition with an 83% licensure rate. Yikes.
 
Yes, I've seen those stats. They are not one of my top choices. However, in their defense, if you really look at their stats, in one of those years, they shut down their Master’s program, which added 25 students or so to one of their cohorts. I’m not sure how much that could have influenced their licensure percentage, but it’s something to keep in mind. As far as cost goes, they offer some scholarships and teaching and research assistant positions, but their tuition is still very high for a clinical psychology program.

Licensure percentage is only calculated for their doctoral degree holders, as is the requirement for APA accredited programs, as an FYI.

If I’m interpreting this correctly, you’re saying they closed the masters program and automatically folded those students into the doctoral program. I would not agree that is a great defense for them.
