Anyone have word if the May 27th COT is full?

My school starts classes on July 28th, so this is the only possible option for me for this year. However, I just commissioned today and despite being reassured that it would be possible to do the May class, I've heard that there's a good chance it's full. Plus, my school only has a one month vacation at the end of MS1, so pushing it back to next year might not even be possible.

Anyone else been in this situation? What happens if I can't work it in this year or next?

I'm kinda bummed because I've been training and I warned my work that I might be quitting at that time. Hopefully, they haven't found my replacement yet and I can continue on for another month if COT doesn't work out.

I didn't get into OIS on the Navy side and was unable to do it before my first year of med school due to bureaucratic crap. And this year there was some problem in communication, I contacted the wrong person (but the right person for HPSP) who didn't contact the right person so I didn't get a spot.

I might get one, I might not and might just wait until between 2nd and 3rd year eventhough I don't really want to for obvious reasons. But if I must I'll just do it after graduation or try and see if I can move around some rotations and do it during the time scheduled for rotations.

So if you don't get it you might need to get creative on when you will be able to.

if anyone's curious, i resolved the situation.

May 27th COT is full. I'll be working something out with my school to miss orientation so I can go to the June 30th COT. I'm not too happy about missing orientation, but i guess it's better than trying to fit COT in on my own time between 2nd and 3rd year.
