hey, i bought a BSS on CD from ebay and the person included Q bank on it. how do i know if this is the same Q bank as I would buy from kaplan? anyone have experience w/this?

Well Kaplan's QBank isn't anything you can really download, install, or copy as it's all accessed through their website, so unless someone's gone to great lengths to somehow cleverly steal Kaplan's material I don't see how they could've put the real thing on a CD. Maybe they're referring to Kaplan's free CD which includes 25 QBank-like questions for the various Step exams. In any case, as I imagine that'd be obvious copyright infringement/piracy, I wouldn't recommend trying to buy a "hot" QBank.

Let's compare notes-- I've seen one of those as well. Do you have a bunch of individual word docs in question/answer format by topic as well as a "practice tests" folder separated into random blocks of 50 as html documents? It is, in fact, QBank. Someone just went and copied and pasted the QBank questions into word one by one. I can't imagine it was very fun. I'm not sure if it's a perfect replica, but most of qbank is there.

i think so. i just have to figure out if i can use blocks randomlyand by subject-i want to be able to do both. i might use this for now and purchase the real deal for only a month.

I have the same...question come on in explorer window and I can answer them and then in the end click a button to see the answers. The real deal?
