Q: what do taxes and mcat courses have in common?

A: you put a lot into both and don't get much back

Seriously though, any of you guys know if you can claim TPR or kaplan courses under the lifetime learning credit? it's worth 20% of the tuition off your taxes.

The tax book says that you don't have to be taking degree seeking classes but I think that they have to be for credit or job improvement. Any of you guys know?

No -It has to be with a qualified educational institute for secondary or post-secondary education.
