I just got my AMCAS application processed (submitted on 7/13/06). AMCAS assigned "G" for AMCAS grade for my IB (International Baccalaureate, similar to AP) credits. I didn't get any GPA for my IB but only credits from my undergraduate institution because that's the school's policy. So on my college official transcript, I have a grade of "T" which stands for transferred. Does anyone know what "G" means and what it is assigned for?

A "G" is AMCAS' code for credit by exam / AP. It doesn't get factored into GPA or credit hours.
