on my application, one of the colleges i attended was deleted. I called AMCAS and they told me to re add it, then recertify and submit. I did, but my question is will that delay processing of my application. It currently is being processed, i'm told, by AMCAS.

If anyone knows the answer, it will be greately appreciated. I hope it doesn't delay processing, because it really is not my fault that they deleted one of my colleges. 😉

Applicant2002,

From the sounds of it, it doesn't seem that your application processing will be delayed. This was in another post:

"So I just talked with one of the AMCAS "specialists" on the phone. During our conversation I was able to verify (finally) that all 4 of my transcripts had been received. I also asked a few questions that some of you might be interested in. She told me that you don't lose your place in line if you add a school to your list after the original submission of your application, transmission will just be later for the school that you add later. However, before you go adding all the new schools you want to apply to, the same woman also told me that transmission of applications to the med schools had begun "a couple of weeks ago" for EDPs and people who submitted during the first week. From the sounds of this board, how could that be true? I wish these people could communicate with each other so we all get the same story. ARGGGGHHH!"

Hope this helps.

🙂

How about in the "Certification & Transmission" box. Will that be "Checked" after you send it?
