Question about AMCAS

What does credit hours under AMCAS mean? For instance, if a class was 4 credits, do you have to input in 4 credits or 16 hours under "credit hours?"

Just put whatever appears on your transcript. If a class is four credits, list four credits under "credit hours."

OK thanks everyone! Also I did an Independent Study in Chemistry. What would I classify it as? I assume it would be under Chemistry?
