i know science gpa is calculated as your classes in BCPM

but is your overall gpa counted as a "non-science" gpa, as in your gpa without all the science classes? or is it ur cumulative including the science as well....?

Both. Your verified AMCAS will show Cumulative (everything undergraduate) GPA, BCPM GPA, post-bacc GPA (if applicable), AO ("all other") GPA, and graduate GPA (if applicable). The AO GPA is all undergraduate non-science courses.

im a poli-sci major...if my overall is a 3.4, science 3.2 and non-science overall 3.7, would the high non-science help me in any way?

Sure, but the low science and just below average overall are going to be your big hurdles. Have you taken the MCAT yet? Do you have rock solid EC's? Gaining interviews and admission is about the total package. Sure, GPA and MCAT may be weighted heavily, but they look at everything.
