Hello, I visited this forum for the first time because I am trying to help out a friend to get a therapist/counselor for depression/anxiety/anger management.

Can anyone advice me on how to find one? I tried googling but didn't know where to proceed because none of the profiles had reviews on them. (psychologytoday.com and some companies)

Thank you in advance!

Check with the insurance company.
If you use psychology today, find someone you like, put their name in Google or bing to read reviews

Usually the insurance company will have a list of supported psychologists and psychiatrists.

It's no substitute for a doc, but it's a lighthearted self-help article I read about a year ago that helped me (Don't mind the name ):

Once you have your breakthrough, it feels like falling from outer space or something back down to earth. It feels really good to be grounded. Best of luck!
