I have no intention of taking any further humanities/social science coursework. I will be applying in two years. How should I go about approaching my professor with regards to writing a recommendation letter?

    1. Should I ask if it would be possible to write one at a future date?

    2. Should I ask for one right now and have it send to Interfolio?

    3. Should I force myself to take another humanities/social science course that's closer to my application date?

    Choice #2.

A two year old letter is not considered outdated. I've used letters much older than that.
