I just finished taking and grading Kaplan test #4, but i dont have the raw score distribution chart to convert my raw score to a scaled score. Does anyone happen to have this chart?? If you do, I would be very appreciative if you could post it (from 8 up or so). Thanks a lot.

P.S. In a couple days, I'll probably need test 5 too, so if you happen to have it, I could really use that chart too. Thanks.

Hmm, #4 curve looks a little bit too generous. I'm taking that tomorrow, thanks for posting the conversion. I wonder how hard it will be compared to 1,2,3... I'm hoping to zero in on 30 for the first time, so far my scores have been 21,24,25.

limit,
i thought #4 was really hard. if you don't know something in physical sciences, just skip it. otherwise, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to finish.

I hear you. I just finished the physical science section. Wow... there were things that I had no idea. I did not finish 1.5 passages b/c I was trying to figure out the answers which seemed impossible.

my physical science scores on fl 1,2,3 have been 8,10,10. #3 was very hard even for me, but the curve compensated a little. I found the bio very difficult as well, I think they are trying to push all the hard stuff so we can get it wrong and study it in the explanations.

How was the verbal and bio on 4?

verbal was a little on the hard side. bio was just normal i thought. haven't checked my scores b/c i'm afraid they'll only serve to depress me!

4 seemed to ask a lot of detail/implied detail in verbal. It was probably one of the more difficult ones thus far, but on the other hand, the scale is adjusted accordingly. The bio seemed about like normal, nothing too out of the ordinary. The PS was a killer in my opinion, the g chem wasn't as bad as the physics on it. At any rate, good luck!
Lola,
I felt the same way you did about not wanting to check my scores, but it did increase from #3 so why not??

Here is a suggestion for physical sciences...if a question seems too tough or time-demanding, look at ANYTHING you can in the passage that would help you eliminate any possible answer choices...if you can't eliminate, guess and move on...physical sciences you really have to move to get it done...but on the Kaplan's I haven't found this section too difficult (don't yell at me!)....I've consistently gotten 11's/12's on Kaplan phys sci and have finished all of them....just remember, spend about a minute a question on discretes..and then fly through the passages, speed read on the passages and go back if you have to..alot of the questions don't involve the passage but just require a formula or something....hopefully this helps a little..let me know if you guys have any other q's about this section, and good luck.
