question about Kaplan USMLE Home Study

Does the Kaplan Home Study Kit for the USMLE Step 1 ($499) adequately reviews one to score high on the USMLE.

Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It did in my case. I also used BRS Path, BRS Phys, and BRS Pharm. I'm very pleased with my score.

i used pretty much every book known to man -- scored 253/99 June 2002. my sense about kaplan books is they are TOO long. i read them through once, but could not use them for high yield review. they are also TERRIBLE for anatomy/embryology -- i would get high yield series for this. the best use of kaplan series is to study along with courses in 2nd year. also, i thought the biochem/molbio section was REALLY good. Qbook and Qbank are both excellent. i still had to use BRS path/phys to review, and of course First Aid.
