I am going to be receiving a letter of recommendation from a professor who works for the food science and human nutrition department. I've been told that this could count as a science letter? Also, I have not actually not taken her main class, but still know her quite well from participating in a special science mentoring program that she was in charge of. I will also be TA'ing for this program this upcoming fall. Could her letter still count as a science letter for some schools? I have another letter from my physics professor, but those 2 are my only "science" professors. Thanks in advance!
