Can you go ahead and submit your ERAS application on September 2 if your letters aren't quite turned in yet? I have selected all my letter writers, but I'm not sure they're all going to be turned in by Sept. 2. Will the application be transmitted anyway, or does it wait for those letters?

If you can advise, thanks.

Yes, you can submit your application even though your LORs are not in. They can always be added later on. The only information that must be complete is your initial 12 or so pages of personal info, including exams, experience, etc.. It isn't even necessary for your PS to be done to transmit the app.

Good luck!

from what I remember, most programs don;t really start looking at the apps until the deansletter is in, but try to get it all together ASAP.
