I know loyola screens pretty hard, but for the 2ndary did everyone get the invite through snail mail. i have been away from my home for past two months, and my parents were out of country for past 6 weeks so I finally got my mail and loyola sent me a letter. I am wondering did everybody get this or did i pass the screen? Did people receive an email from loyola, cause i have not heard anything from them, but it says that my deadline for the supplemental is aug. 31. Im just wondering if i passed the screen, cause I'm retaking the mcat on saturday (and the previous score is not competitive at all).

thanks

i got it through snail, no email, not sure about screening.

Loyola does screen. I called them today and the guy said to wait for them to contact us--he did not specify method, I assumed email....I guess I'll keep a look out in my snail mail...

Does anybody know what their cutoffs are, MCAT- and gpa-wise?

The lady I talked to said my secondary should be on the way via postal mail.

Ouch!

What is it with these Chicago schools and their secondaries? lol

A lot of the essays are similar to others that I have had to write, a couple I pasted verbatim from other essays. This and UChicago have been the most essay heavy supplementals I have had ( thank god i didnt apply to rush)

I didn't think the Loyola prompts were too bad. I just copied/pasted/edited essays I wrote for other schools. These are questions that I answered in some of my other apps.
