I was wondering if anyone else got an e-mail from Pitt with a subject heading of "Merit Scholarship" discussing a full scholarship for students interested in pursuing careers in academic medicine and telling you what to do to apply. I got the e-mail at the end of January I think and the due date for application is coming up. Is this something that gets sent to everyone or are only some people asked to apply? I'm dying to know my chances of getting such a scholarship! Of course, getting accepted to Pitt would also increase my chances...
