i am taking intro to psychology this fall, but at my school intro to psych is a 2 semester course. the first semester is psychobiology:behavior and cognition. does this class count towards my gpa? it is more of the biological sense of psychology and not the social aspect of psych.
thanks.

It all depends on how you classify the course in your AMCAS application. It sounds like it could either be social science or biology. I would recommend that you classify it as whichever course type you have fewer of. Also, choose the category you want the grade to effect- sci or non-sci. For example, if you get an A and your non-sci has a higher ave GPA than your sci, then count it as Bio.

Hope that helps :)
