Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. My girlfriend is applying to med school and has found this board very informative. Anyways, I'm wondering about the MCAT score section of her AMCAS print-out, where it lists a "Series" #. This # definitely doesn't come close to being the sum of her individual scores, so what does it mean? Or is there an error on her print-out?
Thanks for any information you can share. ;)

It's the version of the test she took.

Thanks SMW.

Actually it's not the version of the test. those are like CT, DM, etc. The number refers to the test date. My number is 21, in that the April 2001 MCAT was the 21st MCAT administration since April 1991 (when they reformed the MCAT).

Barton is correct. August 2000 has a series number of 20, April 2001 has 21, etc.
