Question about taking state law exam before entering active duty

Currently living in Florida completing my 4th year in dental school on the HPSP scholarship. Was wondering if it is necessary or recommended to take the state law exam before going into active duty. I have no plans in practicing in Florida as a general dentist after serving in the military. Thank you in advance.

No need. Once you go active duty, choose any state you want and apply for a license there. Military needs ANY state license.

I recently moved to Florida from Canada where I was a practicing Dentist, can someone please point me in the right direction as to what materials to study for the Florida laws and rules exam? Thanks in advance.
