Question about those who took the Caribb. route as a backup plan?

Obviously getting into a US med school would be plan A. And then maybe DO as plan B. But if you decided to go to a caribb. school for the MD was it because your grades were just too poor? I mean the caribb. schools must have some sort of cut off or standards as well. What are they?

You might want to check the carib forum. I've personally never heard of anyone who had the option to get a U.S. MD who then went to the carib.

good luck!
