This might sound stupid but how come there are multiple UCLA schools on AMCAS application?
There are 3 programs:
UCLA - basic program w/ all 4 years at UCLA
UCLA/Drew - 2 preclinical years at UCLA, 2 clinical years at Drew
ULCA/UCR - 2 preclinical years at UCR, 2 clinical years at UCLA

The Drew and UCR programs are focused on underserved populations.

There are 121 students that are accepted into Geffen UCLA (basic program) each year (including MSTP).

There are 24 slots for Drew/UCLA, and 24 spots for the UCR/UCLA programs. You really want to make sure that you are a good fit (show dedication for the underserved) for Drew and UCR if you want to have a good shot at acceptance. Good luck!

121-122 students choose to matriculate at Geffen each year.

About 245 are accepted, including MSTP.

Isn't the UCR/UCLA program only open to those who are attending UCR for their undergraduate education?
