Question about USC...

Does anyone know how strict USC is about the deadline for LOR's?? I haven't been able to get in contact with one of my recommenders to find out if they have sent in the letter. The USC deadline (Dec. 1st) is approaching soon and I just want to make sure that they don't cancel your application (and I'd lose that $90 fee) if they have not received one of your letters by the postmark date. Any info would be appreciated!

I believe that some schools are totally cool about extending LOR deadlines, so I think if you call them up and ask, they might just do so!
