Question about waitlists...

This has probably been answered a million times but I'm too lazy to look for the answer. Anyways, I was just wondering how you can get a call from a school in June or July saying you just got off the waitlist if everyone has to make a final decision by May 15. Thanks.

You put in your deposit for your final choice by May 15th and withdraw all other acceptances. If you get off the waitlist somewhere else, you immediately call your "final-choice" school and tell them you're withdrawing. You will lose your deposit.
