A guy claimed that she was calling him and following him after he broke up with her. No charges or convictions were filed.

She is going to USC pharm school, can she still get intern license and finally pharmacy license?

    thank you,
    Steven

Anybody can file a report against you but that does not mean there's merit. No indictment = no crime. She should not have a problem.

haha i'm sure it was just a typo but i couldn't refrain from laughing when i noticed that you put "he" instead of "she" in that last sentence. reminds me of one of those "oh wait, no, i mean my friend" scenarios. anyways, yeah if there was no charge then no worries.

I agree with what everyone else has said. I doubt that there will be any problem, but if she wants to be sure tell her to contact the state board of pharmacy in the state where she will be going to school. Ultimately it's their decision on granting licenses.

Yes, no conviction = no crime but it is also true: no indictment = no conviction = no crime.

Is your friend hot? God, I'm so lonely right now that I would LOVE to have a girl calling me, stalking me, and following me everywhere I go! :scared:

if there were no charges against her then why would it matter? It should not have any relevance to pharmacy school

Unless the school took some action against the individual.

If a report was filed and no charges pressed (she was never arrested or given a summons, and never had to go to a court date) than this will not show up on her criminal history report. My guess is that the pharm licensing/intern agency would be checking this report for her record, (you pay a fine to the state police to get it - it is public information). So, unless they are walking around town with her picture asking people what they know about her (most police departments do this type of thing when hiring officers) then it will not cause her any problems. The only thing that shows up on a criminal record is any charge that someone has been convicted of in court and any other charges from that same date of arrest (whether nollied or convicted). If she has any question she can also go to the police records division and get a copy of the officers report. As far as licensing/intern lic goes, I dont know if they have a policy regarding criminal records.

if she's indicted, that could endanger her eligibility to get pharmacy license because i guess almost every state takes criminal history into account.
if she's not indicted, she's good then.

Hahaha, this is the funniest post I've read on SDN in weeks. Thanks for making me laugh. If you are THAT lonely, I guess I can stalk you a bit, but only if you are a red haired freckled biologist. ( that's my new type)

Beware the sea lawyers... Everyone has an opinon on law - but seldom do you hear from an expert.

This is Pre-pharmacy - You should ask someone who knows something about this sort of thing.

Someone at my other forum (strictly Russian ) gave me a link, some of those are pretty awesome:

    http://www.kolobok.us/modules.php?name=Gif&file=artists&type=connie&page=4&cnt=30

As for the red freckled biologist, he is my new crush ( hope my bf doesn't read this), I met him at the project showcase where I was presenting my research and was totally blown away by his hotness ( I think the feeling was mutual because we kept checking each other out.) If, only I was single again .......

For the OP, I would have to agree with aboveliquidice, I don't think this forum is place where one should get information on this kind of matter.
