I have heard from someone that a UC student can do some of their rotations at different UCs. Is this true? For example, could a UCSD student do one rotation at a hospital where UCSF students usually do rotations?

Most Students from any medical school can arrange electives at other med schools. Contact the student affairs office at the school you're interested in going to do a rotation at.

Core rotations almost always have to be done at your home school, UC or not.
