Question for bachelor of dentistry

Hey everybody. This post is in regards to my girlfriend. She is from India and has completed her bachelor of dentistry. She is wanting to apply for dental school in the US. However, it seems it is very competitive for foreign grads to apply for dental schools in the states. She is planning on doing masters of public health for 2 yrs, then applying for dental school in the states. I am very unfamiliar with the procedure in regards to foreign grads. Can you please give some advice or enlighten me on the process? I would be very grateful. Thanks.
