Hi Loyola undergrads,

I am a post-bacc student (26) who just completed a year of gen chem at Loyola through their post-bacc program. Now I am about to start the fall semester with:

Boyd--orgo
Udo--physics
Kroll-biology

Does anyone out there have any helpful hints for acing their courses or tips to help understand their expectations? Your input would be much appreciated! Also does anyone have an opinion of Jim Johnson, the pre-med advisor there?

Thanks!

Hey Ratty.. i'm a fellow Loyola Undgergrad.. Senior (applying to med school). I think that for orgo all profs are fine..its a HARD class at loyola so u gotta suck it up and study. Biology i would recomend Hamilton(if he's teaching), or Duffy over Kroll. Hamilton is amazing i had him freshman year..still remember the arthorpod stuff he taught🙂 Umm.. for physics UDO is fine but try taking Dr. Gangopadya if he's teaching it. I heard good things about udo though. Good luck

I haven't been able to talk to jim. whenever I have signed up for an appointment, jennifer has been my counselor. she's cool though and very helpful.

do any guys know much about the early admissions program at Loyola? I am going to try to go that route for admission to Stritch and was wondering how hard it is to get in and any tips you may have. thanks.
