I know that traditionally, students apply at the end of their 3rd year so that they can matriculate after they finish their 4th year and graduate. What do 4th year or post-bac applicants usually do after they apply in June, especially ones with a weaker record? Take a break for a year and pray you get in, or continue taking classes just in case you need to apply again next year? I'm applying this June but I'm thinking about also applying to a post-bac program just in case I don't get accepted. Only problem is that the post-bac program would start in the Fall, but I won't know if I get accepted to dental school until December. Does anyone have this dilemma?
