Wayne State requires that you take A and P and human physiology. However, I know that there are some Pharmacy schools that require two levels of anatomy and physiology. Does this mean that I must take A and P I and II AND human physiology in order to apply to Wayne and the other schools?

Questions about specific programs are best directed towards admissions for each respective program. This accomplishes (2) tasks: 1 - you open up a direct line of communication with a program, which is a good thing for applicants. 2 - you get your answer, direct from the horse's mouth.

I think you're suppose to take BIO 2870 (A&P) and BIO 3200/Human physiology. If you don't go to wayne state, here's a link for courses that will fulfill BIO 3200 at other four-year institutions in the state of Michigan. They stated that "You cannot take an equivalent course for BIO 3200 at any two-year/community college. It must be taken at a four-year university."

I am aware that I cannot take human physiology at a cc and be able to transfer it to Wayne. But what I am specifically asking is that if I were to take human physiology at Wayne State, would that fulfill the A and P level II prereq that is required for some schools?

For other schools, im pretty sure A&P will suffice for their anatomy and physiology requirement (depending if it's one or two semesters they want). But wayne, for some reason, added an extra course to take along with A&P (bio 3200). My best bet is to contact the schools you're interested in applying to make sure of this cuz it just seems to me that wayne state is just asking for an extra course as part of their admission requirement. That way you hear it straight from the school and that's better than asking one of us 🙂 i hope that helps
