I just had a question if you are one of the others that interviewed at Loyola on Oct. 14th. First, I don't know if it was just my imagination or if the dean said that decision letters would be signed and sent on Oct. 25th? If that is what you guys heard then, has anyone heard any decisions yet? If this was not the date she said, could someone let me know when they will be sending decisions? Thanks!

Yes, I wasn't there the 14th, but I was there the 19th and yes, the adcom was meeting on Monday of this week I believe, and then sending out letters the next day. I haven't gotten a letter yet, but the prof that interviewed me (great guy!) called me on Tuesday. I think the letter will be coming the very end of this week or possibly next week.

i interviewed in early october and they told us the meeting would be on the 24th (monday) and that they would try to get the letters out on the 25th, but they figured a more realistic guess was that the letters would go out on the 26th...so those of us in the chicago area should probably get letters today...those who are out of state will probably take an extra day or two for the mail to go through.

Thanks so much for the replys, I was freaking out because I didn't get anything yesterday (I assumed they went out on the 25th). Well, now I'm waiting for the mail to come today, ahhhhh!

yeah i'm with you on that one. i work downtown in chicago and take a night class at the loyola campus up on the northside. i live in between, and i jumped off the el on the way to class after work just to run by my mailbox and see if the letter came...quite disappointing when it wasn't even there. maybe today is our day though 😀

Hey jbrice,

Did you get anything from Loyola today?? I didn't 🙁

Everyone with Loyola acceptances, how and when did you get them? I'm still waiting!!!

If you want faster replies go to the wall of fame and PM those who have recieved acceptances.

Hey guys! So I have an interview at Loyola on the 3rd (so super excited!!!). Any advice? How long would it take by cab to get from the loop area during the morning commute?

The commute can vary drastically. If you get caught in traffic it could take over 45 min. If no traffic, possibly only 10-15 minutes from the loop. Just leave early enough to make sure you will be there at least a half hour before the scheduled time (there's some paperwork you need to fill out once you get there). As far as the interviews, you really should not stress. Although it has been my only interview so far and I can't really compare it to others, I know that I had no stress throughout the entire day. Everyone, the admissions staff and interviewers, make you feel completely comfortable. The entire day left me wanting to attend Loyola so much more. Anyway, I hope this helps and good luck!

i interviewed at loyola last year- and got the same story about when they would send the letters out
it took 2 weeks after the date they gave me for the letter to get to- so don't freak out if it takes a while

I got a phone call. No letter yet.

Nope. Boston.
