This is just a curious question, If you applied to a brand new dental school and got accepted to where your entering class would be the first to go there, what would you find to be pros and cons of entering a brand new school?

I wouldn't really want to be one of the guinea pigs, but all the brand new equipment and facilities would be pretty sweet. What are your thoughts? Any specific questions?

i would worry about patient base. Nothing like sitting around and waiting to do work.

It would help you were first accepted. On the other hand, if that was the only ds that gave you acceptance wouldn't it be a moot point?
This is just a "what if" question. My cycle to apply to dental schools is in 2010. Therefore I haven't applied to any dental schools. I was just asking to see other people's opinions on the pros and cons of new v.s. old and what they would do in the dilemma if they were accepted to both schools, which one would they pick.
