Question on personal statement

I'm going to start my ERAS application pretty soon and I'm curious... how many pages of personal statement people typically have? Is there any word limit? Is 1.5 page enough?

I've heard 1 page max and a little shorter if you can in Courier 10 pt. font. Mine was around 600 words and came in right under a page.

From a PD, let me tell you that anything over 1 pg long that isn't highly engaging will not be read. Keep it short, one page max if possible. Else people are likely to skim it.
