So the AMCAS opens beginning of May and is open for submission the beginning of June. My question is how grade verification works during this process. If I take the MCAT on May 18 and get my score back June 19, can I send my app in at the beginning of June and have the grades verified and GPAs calculated by the time I get my score? I don't want to be losing about 3 weeks if I can help mitigate it waiting for my score to return. Also, is it possible to make adjustments to your essays/experiences after the app comes back from grade verification, or does the app just get sent out right after verification?
