Question regarding your academic policy- what happens if you guys fail or get D's in some of your courses? do you get kicked out? have to retake tests? classes? i'd love to hear some details about this topic thats not discussed too often

what happens if you guys fail or get D's in some of your courses?

Depends on how many courses you've failed. The promotional committee will review each student's grades at the end of the year. They will only promote students with one "D" grade and above.

do you get kicked out?

You repeat the year if you haven't met the promotional criteria, with tuition.

have to retake tests? classes?

There is a summer remediation process for students who failed classes in a particular year, I am not sure how it works.

Cold Front nailed it for BU, but I would just add that during my 3.75 years here I have not seen a person kicked out. A handful of people in my class had to retake some classes but were not demoted, and others who did worse had to repeat the academic year with the class below us.
