if a school cashes you application check, does it mean they will review your file soon or then just want to get your $ asap? anyone knows?

I found no relationship between the speed at which they took my money (invariably fast), and the speed at which they reviewed me (DO schools faster than MD's, but both were invariably not fast enough).
