is it possible to apply to aadsas now and just send in all of your information upon completion of the DATs? from what i was made to understand, i heard that it is possible, and that after you fill out the online application reguarding the schools you want your information to go to, and grades, etc..., that everything would also be fine to send in LOR separately to them. Please correct me if i am being mislead.

If you are looking to apply for 2005 entrance (class of 2009) you are very late. You may have missed all the deadlines and thus have no chance at acceptance. You should research the application deadlines for the schools in which you are interested.
However, if you are applying for 2006 entrance (class of 2010), you are too early. The 2006 application is not yet available and will not be until May 2005. At that time you can complete the application and send it in to AADSAS before taking the DAT. Schools will process your application and ask you to send in their school specific application fee along with a secondary app. When you complete the DAT you will forward your scores to the schools. It is usually easier to have your letters of rec and transcripts sent to AADSAS at the same time you submit the AADSAS application. If not, you can wait for the schools to request the letters and have them sent directly to the schools office of admissions.

yes- you can fill out your AADSAS info - the section for the DAT score is optional.....because it would've been sent to them from ADA. You can also send in your LOR seperately to AADSAS- what I"d recommend is that you send the LOR to both AADSAS AND to each school....same story with your transcript.

But yes- I agree with the person above....if you are applying for the 2005 cycle- you're very late in the game- I mean...there are still some school with deadlines later this month, in Feb or even in MArch- unless you performed extremely well on the DAT and have a solid GPA + good personal essay and strong letters of recommendations....then your chances of being accepted is low. However, this doesn't mean you can get everything ready so you can apply first thing in May for the 2006 cycle.

Keep in mind that you need to give time to people who will be writing your LOR, time for AADSAS to process your material, send in to the individual schools, schools send you a letter, time to make travel arrangements..all these can add up to at least a month!

Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

thanks alot for ur info, i just wanted to make sure on a couple of things. FYI, i am applying for the 2006 cycle class of 2010, so its all good. i have heard that aadsas can slow at times, so i would rather do it early. thanks for the input.
