To those of you who own and rent out office space to practitioners:
1) how long did it take you to find renters?
2) how did you screen potential renters?
3) which listing sites did you have most success with?
4) what supplies (e.g. paper, staples, toner, etc) do you provide and what do you require renters to be responsible for?
To those of you who rent out office space in a neighborhood where there are no available listing comps, how did you determine pricing? I am looking to rent out two spaces in my building, which is in an up-and-coming neighborhood with no psych presence (that I can tell, at least). Being a trailblazer certainly has its advantages, but I'm having difficulty deciding how to determine rent when there are no other spaces nearby to provide comp prices. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks everyone!
