does it matter whether you send the letter via snail mail or email?

if you do send it via email, should you send it as a word attachment, or just a regular email?

This is just me, and I dont know that much about LOI's, but I would send mail not email. Email seems a little less formal, and a little easier to click delete.

From what I hear, you should mail it overnight. Apparently this makes it look more important to you. But, then again do what ever is comfortable to you.

I would say that either form (email or post) is acceptable. I would not include the email message as a Word attachment, however. Anyway, good luck with the whole admissions process. =)
