Qusetion for biology students with 3.5+ G.P.A. from VCU

What has it been like for you to maintain your 3.5 G.P.A. as an undergrad at VCU?
What do you recommend me to do in order to maintain a 3.5 G.P.A?

I'm asking because I want to get into VCU's honors program when I go there.

Same as for any major, work hard. You have the advantage/disadvantage of being at a third tier school. The advantage is that the competition is not as stiff as at some other schools. The disadvantage is that grad schools will expect a higher GPA than from someone facing stiffer competition.
