I think people in the Lounge cross the line way too much. I also think the people that post here are nice and not like most of the posters in the Lounge 🙂

I almost never watch GA but actually got a little teary when Denny died. And totally agree on Christina. Who does that - literally run away every time your SO needs you.

The technical support page for Warcraft (which is down) is down. :laugh:

Yeah, just don't go there, megboo. I never visit the lounge. I don't even spend that much time in pre-allo anymore. Mostly I hang out in here, the non-trad forum, and the physician scientist forum. I just drop in on allo and pre-allo.

damn right i missed you slackers. i started the first one in here just because the threads were getting crazy, i think the "What size font is on the mcat?" thread is what pushed me over the line.

you know its funny, Q is now the OP of part 2 but back in september she wanted me to close part 1 because she said the mcat was over and we didnt need it anymore. blasphemy. 😱 :laugh: 😉

If I had a choice between Chris O'Donnell and Patrick Dempsey you better believe I'm going for Chris O'Donnell.

Especially since Finn accepts Meredith for the crazy person she is, and McStupid treats her like a plaything.

I couldn't stand Addison at the beginning. Now, I feel absolutely horrible for her.

A thought for sharing -

One time (OK two times) I had to take a defensive driving course because I got a ticket and that was the option to keep my record clean.

During the Saturday course, the officer in charge was lecturing on road rage, and he stated, "Whenever you are in an aggressive situation and feel road rage symptoms coming on, stop and ask yourself 'Why am I angry?'."

My husband had to take this course also from a speeding ticket, and it's now an inside joke. When he gets mad about something I look at him and ask "Why am I angry?" and he cracks up.

So now, I ask, why am I angry about GA? 🙂

Ditto. Neither of them are perfect: Derek ignoring his wife, her cheating on him, he cheating w/Meredith. However, Addison actually wants to work it out and gave up everything for him.

In real life, I think there is NO WAY two former lovers can try to "remain close friends" like Meredith and Derek. Too much history, too much unresolved, and it leads to trouble.

She doesn't pick either of them. She's standing there looking back and forth at them, while Finn is walking toward the door like "Let's go". She hesitates and McJerky calls her name like he wants her to come with him. Then the last scene looks like she wants to go with Finn but she's not moving. Cut to credits.

Not likely this time, lady....I don't have a television at home. :laugh: I actually did see the show once at a friend's house, the very first episode. Not sure that I'd have continued watching it even if I could have. 🙄 One show I saw recently that I did think was pretty good is "Numbers." Have any of you seen that one? Of course, if *I* like a show, it's bound to get cancelled, while dreck like Gray's Anatomy continues on for season after mindnumbing season. :meanie:

Thanks A-man, phys was not extremely easy neither was it tremendously difficult it was some where in between, however I have another paper on friday to make up for in so i hope it goes well. I have slept for 4 hrs in the past 2 days i am hyped on Adrenaline rush: sobe , any of you fond of the stuff? I am taking meds it has helped me alot. off to study bio. 05/10 - Sara Ramirez (aka dirty-hand-lady Callie) is only committed through the end of [Season 2]. As of Monday, my spy tells me there has been "no movement to retain her." That doesn't mean she's not coming back, it just means she's not currently contracted to. Chris O'Donnell, meanwhile, is still booked for eight episodes - six this season and two next. Again, this doesn't mean he won't stick around longer. Meanwhile Kate Walsh (Addison) is on board through early '07, which just happens to mirror the deal the returning Eric Dane (aka McSteamy) just signed.

Heh, I'm not surprised. It's a total geek-friendly show. I bet I'm probably one of approximately 23 females watchers nationwide who like it. :meanie:

I'm not sure about the station, sorry. The friend I saw it with had actually taped it. He's an actuary, so of course he loves it. 😀

Dude, I have totally given up on geeks. I was engaged to a chemist, and my last two serious boyfriends were physicists, and it's just too hard to date those guys. We get along great one-on-one, but they can't get along with normal people. Which basically translates to, my mother doesn't like them. :meanie: 🙁

The season is over - last night was the finale.

We all need fluff in our life!

I was very serious with a current CS professor at Montana State - Bozeman once. We never got married because specifically, he wanted a Polish wife (he is from Poland). That, and he was very very traditional. We got along well because we are the same type-A personalities, but he would not have been comfortable with me as a wife. Too macho for that I guess.

And now, my husband the mechanic/rugby player is totally comfortable with me wearing the proverbial pants.

man i'm pissed, my ipod battery is dead. as in, the stupid ipod wont work unless plugged into the wall. the battery is totally shot and wont recharge. its only 2 years old! i doubt its still under warranty, does anyone know how much it costs to have the battery replaced by apple? i remember reading somewhere once that one of the ipods weaknesses is that when the battery fails only apple technicians can replace it. with 4 weeks left to step 1 now if i want to listen to music or goljan i have to use my computer. ahhhhhhhhhhh 😡

I bitched to Apple (to the store near me) and they gave me a new G4...my old one that I was complaining about was a G3. If you can't snag the same good luck..the batteries run $100.
