I wondering how much weight each part of the application process has in determining the likelihood of getting into a dental school (DAT, GPA, interview, recommendation letters, etc) and whether I am on the right track with a DAT score of 21 (PAT - 25, QR - 21, RC - 22, Bio - 18, GC - 23, OC - 22, Total Science - 20) and a GPA above 3.6. I am not sure whether I will have a strong recommendation letter from my professors because I haven't developed a strong relationship with any of them, but I will have a good recommendation letter from a dentist/dentists I have worked with in the past. Thank you for your input!

It highly depends on the school, but for the most part GPA/DAT trumps ALL. Because that's set in stone for you, just focus on your EC's and do everything in your power to apply early.
