Just as the question says...would they do a critical care fellowship or just an IM residency?

There are more and more hospitalist fellowships springing up. There is also some talk of board-certification in "Hospitalist Medicine."

Right now, FP docs do this fellowship, but who knows what the situation will be in about 7+ years (if you're a pre-med).
