Took the 5/31 MCAT today. Felt good, should get within my score range.

For me, money is no object when it comes to education/medical school process. I am fixed on applying this cycle, and if somehow my scores are worse than what I am expecting, I may have to retake.

Is it possible/advisable to register for the next closest exam date-wise while waiting for my score? I get my scores on July 3, and if I do bad, I don't want to have to wait until August to retake if I need to.

If you feel that badly about it then schedule a test date for July 16th. This way, if you get a bad score, you'd already have a month and a half of extra study time. If your score turns out good, then at least you can cancel for a half-refund.
