EDIT 2/22/21: As a change in policy, the SDN staff will allow IRB-approved research surveys to be posted directly in relevant forums. This forum is now closed.

As part of our educational mission, the Student Doctor Network (www.studentdoctor.net) welcomes educators and researchers working with established institutions to request participation by our members in research surveys or questionnaires.

In order to be allowed to post a request for survey or questionnaire participation, we require the following:

  1. All posts and information to be collected must follow the SDN Terms of Service (link: Our Vision, Values, and Policies), which includes the following: Members are not permitted to solicit personally identifiable information from other members or disclose another members identity without their written permission.
  2. All responses to surveys, questionnaires, and feedback must be collected on a site external to SDN. You cannot request that users respond within a thread or via private message.
  3. Research surveys or questionnaires must be reviewed by your organization’s IRB prior to your posting the survey on the site.
  4. Survey solicitations may be posted in the IRB Approved Research Surveys forum only. Only non-profit or educational organizations may use this forum.
  5. Only one posting per survey.

When you post your survey for participation, please include the following in your post:
  1. IRB approval either as a link or an attachment
  2. Dates for which the survey is valid
The moderator staff in this forum are here primarily to remove spam posts. Other content is not routinely monitored. However, posts which violate the Terms of Service may be removed if a complaint is received. If your posting is removed and you have questions, you may Contact Us for an explanation. Please do not repost items which have been removed.
