I'm beginning internship in a few week, but haven't picked up on how to interpret EKGs.... is that a big problem? should incoming interns how how to read 'em?
I'm worried about this also. We had a couple of sessions on how to read them but it never sticks with me because I've never read one in real-life. Attendings never take the time to teach on the wards when an abnormal one comes up.
I've just started going through The Only EKG Book You'll Ever Need, by Thaler, on some recommendations from others...It's really pretty terrific, I think, and explains a lot of the stuff that you have kind of halfway heard before, but never sticks because you never really are taught the basics.
