Complete mid to late August last year. No interviews this year. Suspect it could have been a lack of non-clinical (near-zero) or clinical volunteering (~100), but really not sure.

Yeah no volunteering and no clinical experience beyond shadowing will do it.

You're fine for DO programs. You have about 5 MD schools on your list right now that you could say you have a reasonable shot at getting a II at. As a reapplicant, that number should be closer to 15.

I wouldnt bother with OOS MD schools you will be a reapplicant at and many of them are low yield anyways. Get MSAR, look at schools that take at least 20% OOS and have an MCAT median around yours. Use 32 as your MCAT. Western Michigan would be an example of a solid choice. One problem you face is many of the schools your stats are within the range at which they accept(Rush, Loyola, Creighton, G-town) are schools with a clear mission to service: that's not really there on your app. The schools most likely to value research experience tend to be ones where your stats are way too low.

Fortunately you arent a reapplicant at two of your state programs. You certainly do have a shot at being competitive at both of them and perhaps the other two SUNYs where you are a reapp as well.

513 MCAT w/ a solid GPA means if you apply to 15-20 MD along with DOs you should definitely stand a strong chance of getting in somewhere...

You have a good list but could add more MD schools such as:
Vermont
CUNY
GW
Georgetown
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
St. Louis
Tulane
Creighton
any new private schools that open in 2017 (Roseman, Seton Hall, Henricopolis, etc. )
