Recommend computer course?

Has anybody heard of any med schools that want to see or require some type of computer course in undergrad, quantative skills perhaps (in BASIC)?
I've spent quite a bit of time searching for the answer but haven't found one.
Is it beneficial at all to an application beyond just calculus+ statistics to take a course, if you are not an engineering major that is and math is somewhat lacking? Any thoughts/answers would be appreciated

I asked ucla and uc davis and they both accept computer classes towards the math requirement.
