Recommended reading for pre-med success?

I'm about to go to U of Missouri-Columbia undergrad and am looking for literary materials (be it inspirational, time-management, self-help, or anything else) to help me get into the right mindset to be succesful as a pre-med. So if you have any titles, please post 'em. And of course, if reading them'll help on VR, mention that too . I need all the help I can get in that section.

RAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Read "Compassion and Self Hate" By Dr. Theodore Rubin. It worked for me.

There are ways to improve on verbal score. One is to pratice taking the VR. on MCAT. It also helps if you take a lot of psychology and history classes (a lot of reading).
