hi luvdents
I don't know which school you got in
I know UCSF has asked me to show two years of finance to get I 20 and not just one year
so I had to show 166K in liquid cash which is quite a huge task
the banks usually give you one year of finance at a time
luckily I got RBC bank line of credit of 150K canadian dollars (120K us)
the rest I showed from my savings and my brother who signed a sponsor letter showing he will finance to the tune of 40K from his accounts
so we had to show his bank account as well
I also gave them a conditional approval from citibank and access group
if your school is asking only one years finance ,than you are lucky
you can get a conditional approval by applying to citibank or access group
this will be enough to show one year of funding
do contact your school's financial office for further information
