i'm not sure about brooklyn college's program but usually if you are granted an interview that means you are deemed as a "more competitive" applicant. Not everyone who applies gets an interview.
but for many masters programs, i don't think many people are rejected after the interview, only if your interests don't match with their interests at all, or you really messed up!
